Buy and sell cars with trade partners across Europe

Car Network Europe is a B2B platform: only verified car businesses, dealers, lease and fleet companies and wholesalers trade here. Car Network Europe buys the car from the seller and resells it to the buyer, so both parties have one fixed counterparty and do not need to know each other.

Registration

  1. Create an account. You enter your personal details, your company details (Chamber of Commerce and VAT number) and the shareholders.
  2. Verification. We check every registration, usually within a few working days. After that you can buy and sell.

Buying

  1. Browse the listings. For each car you see photos, the damage report, mileage, periodic inspection (APK) date, remaining BPM (Dutch registration tax) and whether it is a margin car or a VAT-deductible car.
  2. Bid or buy now. In an auction you bid blind: nobody sees anyone else's bid. With Buy Now you either pay the fixed price or make an offer. With every bid you immediately see the total cost of the car.
  3. Award. If you have the best bid and the seller accepts, you will be notified. Your bid is binding until the seller has decided; the seller has 48 hours after the auction ends.
  4. Payment. You pay securely via Mollie. The invoice is ready in your dashboard.
  5. Transport and receipt. We deliver the car to your address in the Netherlands, or you collect it. Inspect the car on receipt; you have 48 hours to do so. If it differs materially from the damage report, report it with photos and we will handle it.

Selling

  1. Photos. Take the photos with your phone; the licence plate is read from the photo.
  2. The car. Enter licence plate and mileage; make, model, trim, APK date and body type are retrieved from the RDW and Autotelex.
  3. Condition. Record the tyres, interior, mechanics and any damage. An honest damage report prevents disputes at delivery.
  4. Price and sales format. Choose an auction (public or private) or Buy Now, and your minimum price or fixed price. Listing is free.
  5. Choose a bid and complete the sale. After the auction ends you choose a bid within 48 hours. You then send your invoice to Car Network Europe along with the RDW release of liability (vrijwaring); once the buyer has completed the receipt inspection, we pay you out.

Costs

No subscription. Listing, bidding and selling are free. If your bid is accepted, as a buyer you pay a fixed fee of € 289 and transport within the Netherlands of € 160, both excl. VAT. A surcharge applies to or from other countries, depending on the location.
