Answers to frequently asked questions about registering, bidding, buying and selling on the Car Network Europe B2B auction platform.
Who is Car Network Europe for?
Business customers only: car dealers, dealer networks, and lease and fleet companies. Private individuals cannot create an account.
How do I become a trading partner?
You register in four steps: personal details, company details (Chamber of Commerce and VAT number), security and shareholders. We review every application carefully, usually within a few working days. We are growing the network step by step, so after you apply we will contact you personally.
How does buying work?
You browse the stock with complete vehicle data: photos, damage report, mileage, remaining BPM and VAT or margin status. For each car you bid in an auction or buy directly, if the seller offers that. If you hold the highest bid at closing and the seller accepts, the car is yours.
Which auction types are there?
A public auction open to all trading partners, a private auction for partners selected by the seller, and direct buy at a fixed price.
How do I sell a car?
Enter the licence plate or VIN, complete the details, upload photos and record any damage. Then choose how you want to sell. You can do this on the website and in the app.
How do payment and invoicing work?
Payments are processed securely through Mollie, with several payment methods. After the sale, the invoice and indemnification are ready in your dashboard, where you also see what you still need to pay or receive.
What does it cost?
There is no subscription. You only pay a fixed fee when a bid is accepted. Registering and browsing are free.
How is transport arranged?
Your choice: Car Network Europe arranges transport to your location, or you collect the car at a Car Network Europe location.
What if the car does not match its description?
We stand for quality. Inspect the car on arrival: we only release the transaction after your inspection. If the car differs materially from the description or damage report, we reverse the deal.
